TNI Commander and Indonesian Minister of Defense Review Troops for French Bastille Day Parade

BISNIS NEWS | JAKARTA — The Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), General Agus Subiyanto, along with the Indonesian Minister of Defense, Mr. Sjafrie Sjamsuddin, inspected the joint parade drill for France's Bastille Day, which was held at Squadron 45 Halim Perdana Kusuma, Jakarta, on Friday (June 20, 2025).

The TNI Commander paid special attention to the troops who will be deployed to France on July 4. He stated that the parade drill had been thoroughly reviewed, ensuring that the TNI's drill would be more organized with new intervals, so that both taller and shorter personnel would have uniformity.

During the event, the TNI Commander and the Indonesian Minister of Defense also communicated directly with the troops and checked their equipment and the readiness of the uniforms to be used.

The parade troops consist of the Canka Lokananta Drum Corps, a combined contingent of cadets from the Army Military Academy (Akmil), the Navy Academy (AAL), the Air Force Academy (AAU), and the Police Academy (Akpol), as well as parade troops from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. (*)
